I would like to activate the smartlink of a MIB2 GP car radio (swing 3). This is a used car radio, it is not original in my car.

 

After some research, I found the kit 000054830A, apparently it would be possible to activate the Smartlink features with this kit.

 

However I cannot find more information. Do you have any additional information on this kit and the fact that it is possible?

I'm afraid this way (official) will NOT work

I already try this officially (with my local dealer), but unfortunately, I can confirm that it didn't work. They said (the guys from the official service) it is not compatible with the installed BCM (19).
