Hello, sorry if this has been asked before but I just can't find a defiante answer, basically I have 2017 pre face-lift vrs. It have the older bolero radio unit. What I want to know is does the face-lift radio fit directly into the slot where the bolero unit would be taken out. Thinking of getting the radio from the face-lift model and replacing my bolero

First pic is what I have and second pic is what I'm thinking of putting in, if it fits directly in

 

 Or if the one I have in the picture doesn't fit, is there another version that defiantly does just slot in

Most of the 2016/17 vRS’s have the Amundsen so check exactly which radio you have. If you have a MIB2 then yeah you can plug and play the newer screen but get one with a bottom trim as the one you are showing there doesn’t have it and it’s not a separate part. 
 

FL climate panel is also a nice upgrade but a bit of coding to do here

You don't have the Amundsen.  No nav button top right.  Pretty sure that's correct @SashaGrace?

Also looks like you are on MIB1 system maybe.  The unit is in the glovebox.  The screen bit is just that,  a screen that is run off the glovebox unit.

If you post a pic of the main unit then you will get a good answer of what your options are.

Quite unusual to have one without nav. That’s a MIB2 Bolero, you’ll need a 5E0919605N screen for this upgrade. Not sure where you are but drop me a PM if you are interested in this and/or some other mods and I can put a package together for you
