Engine top cover removal Superb Mk3 2.0 CDi Business

Featured Replies

I've had the amber engine symbol warning light stay on, and the OBD ll code reader (£18 off ebay) is telling me I have fault no: P0672  cyl 2 glow plug circuit open............I'd like to check the accessible wiring/connections.

Does the cover just pop off with a bit of brute force, or is it secured with clips or whatever? I've had bad experiences with engine bay plastics in the past...............

Advice greatly appreciated..........

Hi @Pyotr,

There no CDi engine on Superb Mk3... Only TDI... ;)

Yes, you just need to pull the engine cover vertically. No tool is needed. :)

Thanks for that..........I was confusing it with Mercedes

That's because Skoda improves its brand image !... ;)

We also have a "silver arrow" on the front bonnet... OK, with a feather on top of it...
