I have tried searching so sorry if it’s come up before.

One for the VRS owners!
Has anyone had or is anyone having a rattle from the f/o/s of the car when under load?
Dealer believed it to be tensioner and pulley issue which was changed today (both pulleys and the tensioner!)but the rattle is still there 🙈
All heat shields are solid.
 

Where’s the rattling coming from? On cold days the inner dash plastics rattle around 3000rpm on my car.

It’s definitely coming from inside the front nearside wheel arch/engine Bay Area.Hot or cold makes no difference.

I have just picked up a vRS and it’s developing the rattle you’ve described. 

Yes I did. It was a loose bolt holding the bracket to the water pump which seems a unique issue to the VRS.

So I’ve been told it’s the flywheel. Booked in next week for a new one (under warranty). Hopefully it will sort it.
