Hey! Over 67,000km I got 8.5l/100km with mostly town driving and 7l/100km country driving. I think I've only ever gotten 800km out of a tank on roadtrips. On the same trip with my Superb 280PS I'd get 800-850km out of a tank. The TDI suits the big Kodiaq more than the TSI in my opinion, it's a lot more satisfying with the extra 130nm torque. That said, I did replace it with a car that has the same engine as the Kodiaq RS TSI, so take that as you will...

Alas after 7 happy years of Kodiaq ownership, 5 of those being the top dog RS, all good things must come to an end. We've only been doing 6,000mi a year in the Kodiaq for the past year or two so diesel isn't making much sense anymore, so have placed a deposit on an Audi A4 45 TFSI quattro S line. Having also replaced my Superb Sportline with a Mercedes-AMG C43 like @dunc69 it also marks the end of Skoda ownership for myself.

Both the Kodiaq RS TSI and TDI ONLY have the external sound actuator. I've driven both (and own a TDI).

Decided that while a stage 1 Superb would be very quick and effective, I need to give ICE a more proper send off before confining myself to a microwave on wheels for a daily.

Been dealing with a knocking noise when going over sharp bumps when off the brakes. Turns out the pads are a bit loose - seems like the DBA DB8849XP are made specifically for the Golf R caliper which is cast a bit differently and uses a retaining clip. Is the TRW GDB1918 the correct replacement set of pads for the 340mm rotors? I don't want to start a new thread just to confirm this.
