Service

Featured Replies

Hi does anyone know what the service schedule is for a 2015 fabia 1.4 TDI.

Thanks in advance

The car can be set to:-

Variable servicing. This is worked out by the car depending on its use.

This can be up to 30,000 Km, 18 - 24 months. or

Fixed servicing. Every 15,000 km or 372 days which ever comes first.

You can look on the cars infotainment system to see when the next service and / or inspection is due.

You can ask Skoda if they have any service history for the car on their Digital Service Record system.

You will want the VIN number for this.

Thanks, AG Falco

changed Miles to KM

It will be 18,000-20,000 miles interval with Variable / Flexible Servicing be the VW Group regime with VW507 00 oil so 5w 30 FS III.

Never seen anyone with a 1.4TDI 3 cylinder Euro 6 engine having it to 24 months / 30,000 miles.   (30,000 km is a figure that can be correct.)

9,400 miles / 372 days which ever is soonest on fixed. (some show 9,600 miles and some write 10,000 miles on a service sticker.)

The 1.4 tdi takes less oil than the 1.6/2.0 engines so the servicing intervals on long life is shorter. ~12-14k.

Noting that the car may need inspection services as well as just oil changes.

My 4 year old fabia S 75 TDI gets serviced 12 months in sync with the MOT but I ask for a long life service. This means that it won't torment you if you do 11k one year or 8k the next.

If however you are doing more than 12-14k a year you cant sync up with your MOT.

One advantage of servicing every 12-14k miles, is it is a good interval to rotate the tyres (but will need to ask for this to be done as an extra).  Will even out the tyre wear
