Anyone know what these 2 wires are on the back of the Karoq one green and one white goin to either side and just under plastic cover at side of boot latch area ? May not be wires but curious ? 

This cropped up in the Kodiaq section a while back, and while some plausible answers were given it was was never really solved.

I found these on my 21 plate Karoq, just pushed them back into hole, I assumed they are for something not fitted like a power tailgate or the virtual pedal for opening the tailgate.

Not power tailgate which I have, so looks like virtual pedal - as suggested by CJJE.
