How do I remove the internal trim to fit a Dash-Cam

Featured Replies

Hi I've just bought a Skoda Fabia 05 and I'm fitting a dash cam and would like to know the best path to feed the cables from the fuse box  through the trim to the mirror and how to remove it without snapping  the fixings.

Also an aside, I know the engine is a 3 cylinder but it feels like there's allot of rumbling vibration coming from the engine, is this normal or does it need some adjustment? I occasionally stalls when I'm crawling or in reverse. ((2005 109k miles)

Otherwise I'm loving the car!

& happy new year and stay safe for 2021

It's quite easy. You open the drivers door and pull the beading from the fuse box to the roof towards the rear of the car. Then remove the sun visor.  There is a panel on the A pillar with easily broken clips that you need to remove and that's about it. Replacement is the reversal of removal to paraphrase a series of car repair manuals
