Key fob problem

After changing the clock spring, I'm finding the key fob will not unlock the car, even when I put the old one back in. anyone got any ideas?

As far as I know there are nothing to do with the key or or transponder routed through the clock-spring, sounds like you have disturbed something somewhere.
Or has the fob lost sync with the car, I believe you have to hold the button down for a while to resynchronise it.

2.0l TSI engines: what should I be looking out for AWD vehicles approaching 100k?

Hoping to purchase a 2.0l TSi Sportline/Laurin & Klement variant at some point soon. My budget may result in me seeking out a vehicle with 95K onwards on the clock. I’ll be only considering something with a full comprehensive service history. My understanding is that I shouldn’t worry about cam chain tensioners as they go on and on. But do they? So is there anything I should really looking out for? Thanks

Evening. I am replacing the rear struts at the weekend, weather permitting. My question is, is it ok to torque the bolts whilst the car is still on its axle stands and not in the loaded position, like the the control arm bolts, when I replaced the springs, I cannot see how to do it when the wheels are back on? Is there a way to mimick load/compression? Have drop links to do at the same time, if I have time. Any advice welcome.

Hi, I own a Skoda Superb 3 – it was manufactured in last months of 2020 and it is 2021 model year. I see that everyone on the forum started the updates from at least 0278 software version and I have (I suspect because of first facelift batch) currently 0270 software and I want to update it to 0330. My device is 3V0035816E, hardware H22 and software 0270, Poland. I’ve found a “path” to 0324 form 0278 (0278 -> 0306 -> 0308 -> 0324) downloaded software for my device version:

Before I go any further I am not an Audio boffin and am not seeking the best possible audio experience. I have a 2012 Superb 2.0 Tdi 4 x 4 just about to clock 200K. It has been an awesome car for the last 11 years and I intend to keep it as long as I can because I can't replace it for anything anywhere near as good without spending a fortune.
