Hi all, 

 

Only had the car (Ovtavia SE Technology 150) about a month and its now telling me the battery in the key needs changing? 

 

Anyone else had this? And does anyone know how to do it? Maybe I'm missing something but can't open the key to get to battery, and don't want to pick at the key..

Cheers - seems ridiculous to have to replace battery after 1 month, but I guess easier to just do it than complain.. 

Changed the battery, still tells me it needs changing. 

 

Also says it needs changing when starting car with with both keys after checking. 

 

Anyone any ideas?

Yep think so. 

 

Both keys saying they need new batteries and then not being fixed after changing batteries makes me think there's a problem somewhere else. 

 

Also noticed at a similar time this started the skoda app has stopped updating. 

 

Weird coincidence.. 

I thought I was was bad having to replace my octavia key battery after 10 months.

 

Whats the battery part number?
