Noone said anything about changing hw parts. Only sw update from factory. Everything feels the same. Only differences I noticed: - Seat heaters (finally) automatically start heating when I start the car in cold days. (Had the option before, but wasn’t working) - Temp. contol buttons, and also seat heaters looks just a bit different (wider red horisontal lines) ..and that’s all. Oh, almost forgot. I’m unable to delete 2 shop notifications now. 😅

..and even you have your place in our community who have no car related direct questions just want to have some attantion and watch a couple of us taking your post seriously I’m really glad that almost all of our silly questions here (in this forum) are treated well and will be answered in short time. Even if we diced the car, at full moon, drinking black cat blood.. So, what you are saying is true, and I agree with it, but I feel “you like to watch things burn” instead of help. Just realised (again), why I try to avoid facebook and such forums.. (That’s all from me on this sunny Sunday morning. Might wash the car today.)

Hello happy Skoda owners! (Great amount of the ppl already left.. 🙃) Just had an appintment for today’s morning (Friday) to have my Octavia 30.000 km’s serviced. The service guy said it’ll take a day or so, because of the necessary manual changes, inspaction and three critical software updates. Had a call from them Friday afternoon, that the software of the car crashed during the updates and they won’t be able to recover it. So I have to wait untill Monday when the Skoda factory connects and gets the job done. (guess updates it directly or so) I’m just curious, has anyone experienced the same or it is a unique situation? 4 says without the car unexpected..

Hello everyone, The fact: to update the software for the skoda service it takes approx. 2 hrs / update for them (mine requires at least 3 different updates). To update the software from the car for us it takes couple mins max. The question: Why is it longer?

Or just simply don’t buy a car from 2020-2021 where ppl were allowed to “work” from home and manufacturers accepted “plastic as an alternative of steel”. 🤷🏻‍♂️ These aren’t unique “Octavia” problems here. If you know what I mean.
