Any Skoda Octavia iV owners out there?

I have ordered the Octavia VRS iV estate and wondered how people were getting on with theirs? (any iV, not just the VRS) How are you finding the battery life and what sort of actual range in full electric are you getting?

Any UK owners that can confirm if the car comes with the type 2 cable and the uk 3 pin plug or just the 3 pin plug?????? Cant get a straight answer from the dealer and don't want to buy a type 2 cable if it comes with one.

There was a similar thread on the Golf GTI site I used to be on and I found it really interesting to see what other's had been up to. My car is due to be built this week (34) so I am counting down the days until I finally get it! So what have you lot been up to?

Hello all, Since I bought my Felicia (2000, 1.6) I have managed to sort out thermostat and engine mount issues (thanks to everyone for the advice). When I bought it, I was told that the remote central locking didn't work but the central locking did work with the key which was true. One of the locks is a bit sticky and doesn't always go so I am going to take the door card off this week and give it a clean and some lube. I was wondering if there is a simple troubleshoo

Hi again Hoping for some more good advice! Cam belt is at 40K ,5 years approx. I know there is a lot of controversy around timings of cam belt changes,and it seems the precautionary principle is the main view.Expensive principle but fair enough.I was having the belt changed because I could occasionally here a low rumble at tick over. Thinking tensioner pulley or something potentially very nasty. However,the rumble disappears when the clutch is pressed,and on my VW T4 I was told a new dual mass

Good morning everyone, I need your help resolving an issue I can't seem to resolve, even with the help of Skoda customer service. I purchased a Superb Style, registered in Italy in 11/2024 (steering wheel with Skoda logo, not lettering), with the Lounge Design setup (the seats are electric except for the forward movement which is manual and does not have position memories). Hi there cant find my manual so does anyone now off hand how much oil a 1.6tdi CAYC octavia takes. Have it in my head 4 litres but not sure if that includes filter etc. . I already have 4 litres of oil but dont want to start changing it in case I need extra as I would need car to go and get some. Alasdair
