Skoda Fabia MK1 window fault

Hi all, I'm new to this forum but I have been browsing for the little while I have owned my car now.

I have a very strange and annoying issue with my windows, they have not worked longer than they have worked which is a real shame because I love the car. 

Basically, first window problem was a broken regulator, my dad slammed the door hard and all it made was a crunching sound when it was wound down, then got stuck so I replaced the regulator and all was well.

I took the car for a service, when I got it back the windows were not functional at all, check fuses none are blown.

I saw a video on YouTube of a guy simply unplugging the door connectors and plugging them back in, as if by magic, both windows were functional again, for about an hour. 

I did my driving test in it, praying the windows would work, which they did for the whole day, that was last month and they have not worked since.

I have had the doorcards off and checked the wires, nothing looks broken but now they just don't work.

I have been told its the convenience control module ( not sure if that's the name for it) but I can't be too sure.

Can anyone help me out? Or point me in the direction of someone who knows about windows because I think I'm going slightly mental 😃
