Skoda Connect Registration unsuccessful

about a week ago I bought Skoda Superb 2018 1.4tsi ambition model. 
I want to have the app with statistics so I paid £36 and followed all steps for Skoda Connect. 
When I type the code to register it I get message Registration unsuccessful. Please try again. 
Summary of my troubleshooting:

I tried it several times during last few days. 
Factory reset infotainment system, including “delete skoda connect user”. 
I did remove the car from Skoda connect and added again. 
Phone was connected via bluetooth and also via apple Car play. 
Icon for data connection indicates it is connected (white globe+key+car icon). 
I also deleted my account from Skoda, registered again and got new code to register- same message.

I used app as well as web portal.  
 

My trim is basic and I dont have wifi option in the car nor the sim in glove box tray. 
 

Any advice/suggestion to make it work (connect)? Thank you for your help!

Skoda Connect has serious issues for everyone. It has been more or less unusable for several months now. Please file a complaint where you bought the Connect from.
