The volume on my original Head Unit does not seem to change between around 30 and 47. In other words the max volume on it seems to be 30, it makes no difference if I go higher than that. Is this anything to do with the GALA setting? I have tried turning it off - no difference.

It's quite possibly more to do with the weak amplification of the head unit than the settings...

Some symphony radio suffer from this problem. Specially the one that have cassette.

I use to have the same problem until my dealer chage it for a Symphony with CD.
