Road Sign - "No data available for the area"

Featured Replies

Hello,

Recently bought my first Škoda. It's a 2014 Octavia L&K.

Car originally was bought in Germany and brought to Latvia in 2016. Original equipment includes lane assistant and road sign recognition.

Tried to enable the feature but keep getting the same error "No data available for the area". Checked multiple posts around the topic on the forum - rechecked adaptations, coding and everything is as it should be.

Another post mentioned that the recognition regions were extended with 2015 update. Downloaded latest maps - updated. Today went to the Škoda dealer and updated the software to the latest version as well but I still keep getting the same error.

Is there any fix or there is something I have missed? I have heard similar story from Latvian Škoda dealer that they tried to fix the issue for another car but the importer (manufacturer support) replied that the car was bought originally in 2014 in Germany and upon purchace it didn't support the road signs in the country that it is used in now and feature can't be enabled for the region.

Would appreciate any assistance.
