Fitting a 2017 Paddle shift steering wheel to a 2015

Featured Replies

Has anyone else been stupid enough to try this ?

If both steering wheels are from a MK3 Superb and you already have a MFSW, it should work AFAIK.

If you're trying to fit a MK3 Superb wheel in a MK2 Superb, the buttons are incompatible.

The car is a 2014/5 and the wheel is from a 2017 car. The buttons are all the same except just one. The wiring of the internal wheel harness is all swapped around and all the buttons operate the incorrect functions. I am now on the hunt for a 2014/5 paddle wheel button unit to fit to the wheel. Cannot order a unit from Skoda as they will only order parts by VIN number.

A MK2 FL Superb should use 5E0919719G if it has a MFSW with DSG paddles :)

Might be worth asking a mod to move this thread to the MK2 section assuming I've not misunderstood what car you have.

A MK2 FL should look something like this:
