Hello my friend. 2013 Octavia has non-bluetooth model MIB 1 bolero. If I replace the screen of this with 2016 screen, will it work with the unit and will the smart link work?

I don’t know for sure, but no I don’t think this will work. You will need to replace the head unit in the glovebox to give you extra functions. Also Smartlink is a chargeable product and needs to be enabled by your dealer.

 

I don’t think it’s that straightforward.

The screen is literally just a screen, all the working parts are in the glovebox unit so it is that which will require changing.

Can we attach it to the 2016 MIB 2 amundsen unit 2016 MIB 2 bolero screen?

You need to change the screen and the MIB, the MIB will need Component Protection removal and FeC/SWaP redoing to work in the car.
