Hi Guys,

 

So my dad has a Euro Spec, Skoda Octavia 2 1.4 petrol hatchback. The engine and the gearbox is in a really good condition, even after 180k miles. However, the body work and suspension is not so much. So we were thinking if it is possible to get a scrap octavia with an engine damage and just replace it with the one we have. Do you think Skoda made some changes on mounting the engine and gearbox between a LHD and RHD? Or will it be as easy as putting 2 legos together. 

 

Also, could you guys recommend me some websites I should look at for petrol Skodas with engine damage? I tried ebay and Facebook however theres mostly diesel cars on there.
