Hi Guys! 

 

Today just got 2 light on my dash, read it and says (intake air temperature sensor 1 circuit high) and my ASR light sometimes came on and goes, any idea what it can be? Whats the common reason :/ Thank you

opps sorry :(   engine code is BLT , 2 days ago is check my boost pipes , and engine light came on a following day , checking wires looks fine

1 more thing Poosibly have bad bearing on a left side same started a few days ago, dunno if any connection with it

Yes, ASR relies on wheel speed sensor readings.

Thank you, but what about the air intake temperature sensor? Cause that was the first what came on  :/

There's one in the MAF and also one in the MAP, which sensor does it say?

Hmm I have a very cheap reader, will check with Vagcom tomorrow, cheap one said air temperature sensor as i said, but today change the maf, cause had a spare, but after a 5-10 minutes comes on again (check engine)

1 Fault Found:
17569 -  Manifold Temp Sensor (G72): Open or Short to Plus
        P1161 - 35-10 -   - - Intermittent
 

It could be the wiring or the plug rather than the sensor itself so make sure to bell them out first before flinging money at it.
