Very cool screen saver (as per Marlin Engineering)

Featured Replies

Those who were at the Marlin RR day may have notice the ratehr cool screensaver running on the screen to the side of their RR machine. Well, I've tracked it down and here it is:

http://www.pooyae.com/media/DeutzEngine.zip

Its 40mb+ and is a long animation of an engine being built up from the block, with screws, pistons, and other components etc. feeding themselves into place. It then cuts to an internal view with the engine running.

Very interesting just to watch, and also makes a change from the standard windows screensavers.

Seems to be a corrupt zip file?

Tried downloading it twice now :(

Yeah, was corrupt for me too, I ended up finding it elsewhere on the internet...neat screensaver!

Seen that before. My dad works for Perkins Engines and a lot of people there have it as their screen saver, which caused some alarm, Perkins with a Deutz engine screen saver.

What concerned me more was the fact they couldn't tell it was a pertrol engine... A Ford Duratec to be precise.

:D
