Hello!

Hello fellow Skoda drivers!

I’m new to Skoda’s and, erm, decent cars in general 🙈 prior to my Octavia mk3 1.4tsi acquisition a year ago, I drove a procession of clapped out bangers, mainly fords. Mk3 fiesta, couple of Capris (that I dearly miss 😭), escort van, and a mk1 focus 1.8tdi estate.

I really enjoy mauling with cars and will take most things on, certainly on capris! I can always get it apart, and 95% of the time, I can get it to go back together again 😉Anything mechanical is fine, but I’m certainly no expert on electrics. Bring back the 2L pinto, that’s what I say!

As such, I will mostly be on here, sharing my musings , and begging for somebody with half an idea, to point me in the right direction when it come to electrical problems. Of which, I’ve already had (and solved!) a few. I will of course share what little knowledge I have, around the few minor issues I’ve tackled already.

As I say, I’m new to Skoda, so if I ask or say anything stupid….be gentle 😊

Marc.

Hello and welcome! :)
