Has anyone ordered an Enyaq with the crystal face grill?

I like it and the kids think it looks great, but I am unsure and I would like to know what others think of it before I tick the box.

(Also its over £500 l, but it gives a different look to the slab of black plastic it replaces)

Just before the official launch date it had been removed as an option so some people will have missed out.

I agree that it looks quite good. 🔮

I could be sticking my neck out here but i think it's a bit tacky, and not only that'd be concerned about the cost of repair if it were damaged by a stone or something, I'm guessing it won't be cheap......

I'm open to different views, and when I saw the crystal face at the launch I thought the same. 

Watching some YouTube videos of it is changing my mind, especially with a sportline black grill surround.

The cover is the same plastic as the light lenses, and they would not be a cheap fix either, but I've never had to replace a headlight lens in 24 years of driving.

The main negative for me is that it is a gimmick, but it does add interest to an otherwise massive bit of plastic.

I am unsure, and I'd rather see one in person, but I doubt I will for a while, unless I'm the one to go for it

I think manufacturers are going overboard with illumination, Blackpool on wheels springs to mind....

Also, it's a gimic the battery has to power, that extra mile used could be critical 😁

True, some manufacturers are going overboard with light signatures; but to be fair, the current draw on all the leds in a modern car is probaby less than a pair of halogen headlights.

I think it looks ok, but there are many many other things that you could spend £500 on.
