What headlamp bulbs? H4 or H7

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me what replacement bulbs I need please?

I can't seem to tell if it's H4 or H7. I've attached a picture, if I remove the bulb there's no markings on it...

TIA

Should be H7  (is on mine)  but check on https://www.osram.com     or check manual

dont know if different build years have different types

Model and year of the car might help mate, I'd say much more likely an H7 - long time since I saw a H4 in a headlight, but just a guess ... as I dont know what car your driving.

A H4 and H7 bulb are completely different!

- A H7 has one filament and 2 connectors

- A H4 has two filaments and 3 connectors

It's 2007,57 reg.

When I've searched the reg on suppliers sites, it says either H4 or H7!

Your headlights are projector type so you need H7.

The projector type headlights use H7

Take a look at this thread, you need to avoid trying to grip and turn the fixed metal hooks when taking the bulbs out to change them

Yip, if you can see the bulb in the headlight, it'll be an H4. If you can't see a bulb but a projector/lens like in the pic above, you'll need an H7.
