Headlight Beam not working

Featured Replies

Hi,

Not failed due to headlamp main beam not working.  The ordinary beam is working fine but when I come to use switch to main beam it doesn't work switched in continuous mode but it does work when I pull switch back towards me when I'm holding it in position.  Wonder if it's just the switch or if it's some control box? I do have electric background so might have a go.  Any ideas or help here appreciated

I suspect it's the dip switch. Try spraying contact cleaner into it, and then exercising it.

Hi,

ok, trying to find out how to remove the plastic cover where all the switched are?

sprayed some contact cleaner into switch but made no difference.   To get plastic cover surrounding switches do I need to take off steering wheel?

If I do need take of steering wheel is there any videos out there re roomster stalk switch replacement and removal of steering wheel?

I've taken a steering wheel of an older car before but bit more cautious as it has an ait bag.

Any links or help here would be great

Thanks
