Hi guys where the best point to get twin wires from a dash solar panel to the battery, at the moment i'm using the OBD via the supplied adapter but you have to unplug it when you drive and I know am bound to forget so would rather plug it onto the battery, I dont drive often and my battery is forever getting low in winter, just need to know the best place to get wires into the engine bay

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm surprised it doesn't have a cigarette lighter plug as that would do.

does it work through the lighter as well does it? maybe I could buy a lead that fits the plug

The cigarette lighter is powered continuously and whatever rating its fuse is the solar trickle charger will never burn it.

 

You could buy a plug and wire it yourself, the type you find on tyre inflaters/phone chargers etc.

 

Observe correct polarity.

sent that one back now and ordered one with a ciggy lighter plug
