Acids octavia on a 58. Plate.Centrol locking and electric window won’t work ,electric window works from button fitted to rear led door but doesn’t work from drivers master switch,all other doors work fine .

Welcome to the forum. Sorry I do not fully understand your post so I have re-punctuated and spelling corrected it above. Please excuse me if I have got the wrong intention.

 

If all the windows work from their on-door switches but not from the master switch then the mostly likely cause is a failed master switch and you are not the first to have this problem. You can buy a new one on-line for about £17 or get one from a scrap merchant.

 

There are posts on here of how to remove and replace the switches/door pull. Do a search on here. Here is your starter for 10 which will need further searches:-

Hi sorry for the confusion,the two passener front and rear door left side went into dead lock,managed to open them ,change the module in the drivers door &the module in the front passer door ,which works fine now ,but the rear left door Centrol locking doesn’t work at all and the symbol on the dash doesn’t that indicates that the door is open doesn’t illuminate either.the electric window rear left works from the switch an the door but not on the master witch from drivers door ,all other work .hope this helps

Looks like you need to replace the lock in this door too, but before doing that and with the door open, pull back the rubber tube that covers the wires going from the door to the body. Look for damaged or broken wires - especially on wires that are being pulled tight in the loom.

Thanks again for your reply ,stripped the door down and replaced the lock the module ie window motor ,still no good ,pulling my hair out not that I have any

Just a catch up ,changed the comfort control unit under the dash ,does this need to be programmed as the remote keys won’t work .
