I have a 2009 W*09**H octavia mk2 ambient Laura and it's on 248500 miles to the dot 0ct2021 runs forever even without regular maintenance And even though can't afford propper service and oil change in feel it's got a lot life left in it! Even saving up for 2new(part worn I'm unable to work) tyres at moment! Joe Allcock

I thought it would be useful to create this separate topic and collate information as now Infotainment Software Version 1969 is out in the wild I imagine user interest will increase. All credit to those who posted information in other threads - I hopefully have credited you all where necessary. Feel free to comment on your own experiences and observations. Octy 2 1.4TSI ESTATE CAXA Quite uncertain where to enter this question. The keyfob#1 has started to cause serious problems with the car alarm system. So far keyfob#2 is working with no problem. Car alarm starting randomly and only disconnecting the battery helped. Yesterday the alarm kept sounding/flashing even when the engine was running - undrivable. Is there a home cure whereby I can remap/reset the key fob? My very helpful auto sparks is unable to help

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. Basically the car continually tries to phone home and drains the battery, the tailgate control module is acutely sensitive to voltage meaning that if the car has sat for more than a day (sometime less) th

Hi! Octavia vRS TDI 2015 - For a while I've been experiencing constant DPF regens - the idle tick over constantly sits at 1K with the radiator fans running for a while after the ignition is turned off. I drive motorway miles daily so it's not a symptom of short trips although on longer 2 trip ~2hrs the Particle Filter warning will appear but clears after ignition reset. I've noticed the regens are having a massive impact on fuel economy (only managing ~350 miles on a full tank when previously

Hey up, If anyone is jacking up their car soon are you able to take pictures of exactly where you put the trolley jack (pictures of the jack and any pucks used would be amazing) And where you put the axle stands.
