Android notification drawer

Featured Replies

So a bit of a specific thing this but bugs the hell out of me.

My last phone (pixel 3) and I think the previous one or more all had the behaviour to close the notification/quick settings drawer after you dismiss the last notification. I'm sure my pixel 5 did it until a recent update. Now I have to to manually close it after swiping away all the things. I'm a long term android user and did plenty of modding back in the day so I know how to drive the OS. Nothing in the settings suggests it can be reactivated.

Any ideas from the hive mind?
