i would upgrade the factory speakers  if you gonna put some duff duff  in the boot ..

I'm considering all options. Generally I'm satisfied with overall music perfomance of current audio system, but I'd like to add more bass to it, so I wondered that a mini subwoofer that goes into the left pocket of the boot with the custom box for it that wouldn't take up much space would be the way to go

I can't put anything in the boot floor since I carry big and heavy shipment for work. But as you suggested before: I should replace factory speakers. Do you have any suggestions that would add a noticeable amount of bass?

looks like your best option then mate .... as regards  upgrading  factory speakers  i have  been using  Hertz  for the past few years  but that was in my subaru outback  in australia  but  on the whole  yep  good speakers
