Any of you fine Octavia 3 owners had to have a door seal fitted outside warranty by a Skoda dealer.

 

My drivers door has started leaking into the footwell. I traced it to the door seal.

 

If so what was the price?

The seal that goes round the opening on the car body?

Yes, that's the one. When I pour water around the top of the door it;s leaking into the drivers footwell.

I have the same issue, replaced that seal (about £36 from TPS genuine Skoda part) and hasn't solved it. Next will be the one at the top of the door and round the bottom of the door.

 

Are TPS online, as that looks like a good price for a genuine seal.

 

How hard was it to change. Did you have to remove lots of trim?

No idea I'm afraid. I have a store locally to me. 10 minutes. Not remove, just prise out of the way a bit. Like I say, I could have sworn it would have resolved it but it hasn't......and its definately water coming in from the outside so will need to try the 2 on the door next.
