The screen of my cluster on my 2015 Octavia rs was playing up. So I bought a second hand replacement. When I installed it gave me a warning and wouldn’t start. When I changed it back to the old cluster it gave me all the warning lights, airbags, sensors etc. but it did start and drive. The annoying thing is the screen is working fine now so the connector was probably loose.

 

Is there a way to reset it so everything works again?

The cluster has the immoboliser and component protection built in so you can't just swap them I'm afraid.

 

As for the warning lights, you probably need someone with diagnostic equipment to clear the fault codes for you

Is there anyway I could move the immobiliser from the old cluster to the new one?

Unless you have the right tools, you won't be able to.

 

A dealer, independent with online ODIS or decent auto locksmith should though
