Hi I have a skoda octavia mk3 64 plate 

Had the clutch and flywheel changed in last August and started having problems with clutch had the master cylinder replaced few weeks ago and now keep having problem with clutch when starting the clutch falls to floor but after pulling it back up works fine until yesterday when the clutch totally fell in had it checked and there was a leak of fluid can this be the new master cylinder or a common problem with the slave anyone had any issues after master cylinder change

These specific clutch problems are becoming more and more frequent, I can't be responding to them all nor can I ask them to use the search function as I can never find what I have previously written using it.

 

In hindsight I see now the wisdom of adding tags but I think most of what I have written on the subject has been responding to others questions.

 

Perhaps its worthwhile creating a sticky but that would entail finding the postings which is beyond me.

 

Fat finger problems meant that I can no longer find threads that I had marked to follow includin the one I started about my clutch, a real shame as I used that as my bookmark/search facility.

I'm pretty new to here so not sure how it works thought I'd post my problem and hopefully someone could offer some insight 

Was the slave cylinder changed when they did the clutch?

 

slave cylinder went in mine. Exact same symptoms. Pedal sticking to floor. New slave cylinder (clutch and flywheel done at the same time as everything was out) sorted it 

I think so have had clutch and flywheel done in August in guessing so
