I need your opinion about Autowatch alarms. Is there anyone who owns such an alarm? Are you happy with it?

(I want to buy one called 288 RLi).

hi there,in my opinion autowatch alarms are pretty good systems for the money,i used to fit them alot for a former employee and we didnt get many problems with them at all,not as well respected as the likes of clifford or toad but good value and definately up to the job.

I had a look on the Autowatch site earlier, but coildn't find this particular model.

But what was there all looks pretty good to me

i want to buy one having remote engine start and pager (288RLi) and the price is about 252 pounds (in Romania). The price is less than a Hornet (made by DEI) with the same functions.

Do you think DEi alarms are better (Viper, Hornet, Valet)?

cant comment on the other systems youve mentioned but the autowatch is a good all round system and will protect your car from thieving scum,does your vehicle have the factory fitted immobiliser ? because if it does did the price include the interface to deactivate your standard immobiliser ? because the price is pretty good

cant comment on the other systems youve mentioned but the autowatch is a good all round system and will protect your car from thieving scum,does your vehicle have the factory fitted immobiliser ? because if it does did the price include the interface to deactivate your standard immobiliser ? because the price is pretty good

my car has the factory fitted imobilizer. I need to buy an extra module (code is 287-000 and is 39 pounds), and i understood the second key of the car will remain in this module, in the car.

This module is included in the price i've mentioned and a sonic senzor (with 2 zones), the pager (http://www.autowatch.co.uk/Products/Product%20pages/Paging/Display%20Pager/Products_Pager_Display.htm) the fitting and the VAT, too.

PS. In Romania Autowatch has lifetime warranty (for the first owner of the car).
