Hi, does any body know if you can piggy back a power feed from the right hand rear fog light to the left hand side. Will this effect  the canbus system ?

Just want the left hand lamp to illuminate apparently only right hand light functions by design ? ?   Thanks in advance

Yes, it is to discriminate against brake lights. With two rear fogs lit people could believe you were braking apparently and also less likely to realise when the same intensity brake lights are actually switched on. 

Depending on the car, either VCDS,  VCP or ODIS-e should be able to achieve this without messing about with the wiring 👍
