Has anyone fitted the larger 340mm brakes to a diesel VRS?

On the petrol VRS, the 340mm front discs are matched to 310mm ventilated rear discs. As standard, the diesel VRS uses 272mm solid rear discs.

Don't fit the very heavy single 60mm piston sliding fist MQB platform calipers.....waste of money....

On the MK3 Octavia & MK7/7.5 Golf is way better to fit either the Audi TT-S 4 pot ATE caliper with the 340mm discs...or you fit the Porsche Macan Brembo 4pot calipers, which require the older MK6 Golf 345mm discs.....both the above options are way lighter than the factory 60mm piston calipers..

Loads of people have done these mods on the MQB platform...

I don't know the exacts for the MK4 Octavia, but its a lightly modified MQB platform...

Anyway loads of options here as complete kits..you can just by calipers & fit your own discs/pads..
