Hi all.

 

15 plate Octavia vRS with an Amundsen unit; SD1 and SD2 slots, no CD player. SD media card could no longer be read in SD2 (error message on screen), swapped SD cards around, media card works in SD1 and navigation SD card works in SD2. However now about every 1 in 10 uses, when starting up the car, playing media via SD1, the unit will not pick up from where it left off and default to the first album on the card (e.g. album entitled 'A1). Anyone come across this before? Unit and/or SD card issue?

Not saying it is this, but there could be a newer firmware for the unit that might have a fix applied to it for this reason.

They don't exactly advertise a changelog.

You can use this guide to check what's installed in your unit, then I can say if there's an update or not (as dealers might say no, when there is sometimes)
