Fabia 1.2tdi

Featured Replies

Hi guys I am new to the forum and I desperately need some help and advice.

I have purchased a 2012 Skoda fabia 1.2 TDI greenline and it developed a misfire on cylinder 2 so I fitted a second hand injector that seemed to work fine for 100 miles but has now started to misfire again.

I have plugged it up to my scanner and the fault is as follows (see picture).

Hopefully some clever people can help me as my next step will be to swap injector 2 with 3 and see if the fault move to cylinder 3.

Any chance of it being a damaged cable. Wonder if putting the faulty injector back in cylinder 2 would allow it to run correctly again if this proved to be a failing cable that made a good contact again. Have you tried disconnecting the cable, moving it about and re-connecting and trying.

Hi Keith

Thank you very much for your reply and advice.

I originally had a misfire on cylinder 2 and replaced with a second hand injector that seemed to cure the problem until now. I have had a look at the wiring around the connector but no obvious damage but I will try and move it into a different position and try and see if that improves the running.

Thank you very much for your advice.
