Can anybody confirm that turning off the interior alarm can be done as the manual says, by pressing the lock button on the key twice, within 2 seconds...tia

Certainly is that way on other Skoda models, also disables dead locks.

Can also be disabled in the menu on infotainment unit, which will only disable interior alarm monitoring.
