For some reason, after a factiry reset, I can't change the date in my Yet - it just says 'function unavailable' - I can change the date OK with the steering buttons on the steering wheel (not the radio though).

 

I've also lost the directions on the LCD screen between the two dials, so have to keep an eye on the sat nav screen to see if I need to come off at the next junction - might need to turn on the voice navigation until its fixed.

 

I'm assuming I need to take the car to a Skoda specialist or dealer to plug it in to a computer to sort this out?

 

 

You could try a complete reset(?) by removing fuse 8 (i think) from the engine compartment fuse box - it is for the radio etc - for a couple of mins, It might work, got to be worth a try!

Sounds like the main stealer broke it, so they should fix it at their expense.

Thats a big assumption considering that no mention was made of the main dealer and "Factory reset" probably meant the OP or someone else pressed a confirm button in response to a prompt saying "Reset to Factory settings" usually followed by "Warning! all previous saved settings will be lost"
