  1. If it helps - it's this part (hard to see - so circled in red). It seems to be leaking between this part and where it's mounted to the engine.
  2. Tracked it down to this black plastic unit on the right-hand side of the engine - any idea why it could be leaking and how to fix it? https://youtube.com/shorts/Fi-sOWHeajM?si=8czzOAeKgUkgHZE7
  3. I can manually select the sensors by pressing the button on the dash, but they don't come on automatically like they used to. Perhaps a wire is broken to the reversing light, which in turn isn't activating the sensors?
  4. Got a weird one, when putting the car in reverse, the reversing light doesn't come on and neither do the reverse sensors (nothing on the display). I can activate the snsors and they then work, but they don't come on automatically. Any ideas what could be causing this?
  5. I think it depends on where you live in France. It only costs about €4 (which I think is for the lifetime of the vehicle) and if it helps avoid paying a possible €150 it's worth paying. More info here... https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/news/motoring-news/law-change-for-uk-drivers-in-french-cities/
  6. I tried calling Skoda, but they just told me (after a Google search) it was Euro 6 - but the crit'air website only shows categories from Euro 1 to 5. However, there is a drop down option showing Euro 6 - which is apparently the equivalent of the French Euro 1 - so I am all sorted.
  7. We're planning on taking our Yeti to France and we need to pay for the Crit' Air sticker before we go. https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/ But I can't find any info about what category our Yeti fits into - its a 2017 Outdoor (petrol) model. Any info would be gratefully received.
  8. Does anyone know where to get the cover panel (to cover the hole in the bumper) from? If it's Skoda, do you know the part no.? Thanks.
  9. Thank you - tried that, but no luck.
  10. For some reason, after a factiry reset, I can't change the date in my Yet - it just says 'function unavailable' - I can change the date OK with the steering buttons on the steering wheel (not the radio though). I've also lost the directions on the LCD screen between the two dials, so have to keep an eye on the sat nav screen to see if I need to come off at the next junction - might need to turn on the voice navigation until its fixed. I'm assuming I need to take the car to a Skoda specialist or dealer to plug it in to a computer to sort this out?
  11. Finally found time to remove the unit and send it to Ant - very pleased with the quick turnaround and now have a working screen!
  12. Sending mine off to Ant, will let you know how I get on!
  13. OK, heard back from Satnav Systems - having told them my vin no. and specific model - they aid they can repair the unit to full functionality for £599 +VAT (with 12 month warranty), including map update with speed cameras. If it can't be repaired - they will exchange it for a genuine OEM Skoda unit for £1,199 +VAT (with 24 month warranty) - pretty much what Skoda quoted. They also offer lower cost alternative replacement units. At the moment my unit works as it should (except for not being to type any postcode that contains a 'P' - slightly annoying when we live in an 'HP' postcode), but we can work around this for now - if it gets any worse, I may get in touch with Satnav Systems again.
  14. I've contacted the guys at SatNav Systems Ltd, to see what they''ll likely charge to replace the screen - I'll let you know what they come back with. In the meantime, if anyone knows a likely source for the screen itself - please let me know!
  15. I've been having a similar problem with my 2017 Yeti - when typing in a postcode into the sat nav screen - the 'P' is non-responsive. There was a previous fault where the screen either didn't turn on - or was non-responsive - so we took it into our local Skoda dealership. They carried out a check and came back with this... "Reg. media issue. Found fault in system for mechanical error of media screen. Test plan inconclusive, carried out software config on 5F. Customer to monitor however if issue re occurs the recommend new media unit." Took the car in today for them to say it will cost £150 to run a full diagnosis - it will then cost either £1,200.00 to replace the head unit - or if it's the control unit - it will cost more like £2,000.00 Obviously not very happy with that, and I see that it's possible to replace the screen - do you have any recommendations about where to buy a replacement screen? Thank you.
