MK3 Octavia estate

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, I wonder if you can help me with my load cover problem!?

I recently got a 2013 MK2 estate without a load cover and I'm trying to find one, however, there seems to be different variations of the same thing!

The part number starts with 5E, but they end with A,B, or C.

Can anybody throw any light on this please, I just want to buy a black one!

Thanks,

Frank

Sorry, It's a Mk3, not 2.

If you have a 5E chassis not a 1Z VIN number, then part should be 5E9 867 871 C 9ET

The C part is the superceded part to replace the A & B variants

9ET is colour coding

£172+ VAT (less if you shop around)

It's called a cover sheet if this is what you are looking for.

Thanks for that Varoom!

Yes, I have the 5E MK3 A7 DSG model, so they are all the same for the 2013 onwards MK3?

Mine came with B fitted from 24.03.2014 until 07.12.2015

Then is replaced 01.07.2016 with C which also fits yours as a replacement

In a sense, we could fit A, B or C from 2013+, each revision will fix something (probably fixes for the winding mechanism)

Thanks again, I just ordered one off eBay, it's a 'c'.
