After driving for a min or two, a message flashes up "WORKSHOP ONLY  LEAVE SELECTOR IN POSITION  P"  and a yellow triangle appears lit on the dash also warning gong sounds,

Next min the warning message disappears but yellow light stays on ,  the car drives Ok seems fine , its an intermittent fault which seems to have no affect .

            Am I  doing any harm by continuing to drive.

Welcome to the forum.  Your 2016 Fabia will be a mk3.    I wondered when I read the title as the issue was not one MK2 Fabia have had.
