“Changing vehicle settings”

Featured Replies

Hi all. I have a brand new Superb Estate SE L. Each time I start a journey, after a few minutes I get a message in the infotainment screen asking me to to confirm changes in my vehicle settings. What’s going on?

Welcome.

All the best with it and hopefully someone here can help you set things up.

Unrelated, but,

Remember if you have not done already, check the coolant and oil levels, and the tyre pressures are safe and reset the TPMS.

If it happens to be something not completed at the Dealership that did the PDI just tell the Dealer Principal your hourly rate is £115 if you need to take the car in to be sorted out or they can send someone out to the car.

Welcome to the forum, can you provide a photo of the message?

Also, remember the button in the overhead panel shaped like a spanner, press it to contact skoda support and they may be able to assist or even send someone.

This is to do with with your key personalisation. If you tap apply it'll then adjust to the key that you're using.

Sometimes it glitches and starts the car in guest mode then attempts to apply your key settings mid-drive.

There's a setting to disable the online element of the profiles which will stop this happening as often. I'll check my car when I get home to see if I can remember what I did

Thanks.

Have you set up individual user accounts for the keys etc already?

I thought so… thought the dealer did it on collection .
