Washer fluid pump in our arona is blowing fuses. What are the chances that a replacement pump will solve the problem? They aren't expensive but could be challenging to get to. If it just going to fail as soon as I turn it on due to another fault in the system........

 

Short version, what would cause a washer fluid pump fuse to blow?

 

Increase in current from a dying motor would pop fuse.

 

Could also be short circuit as you mentioned too.  That can be where a code reader helps, as those are usually logged.
