Reversing : passenger side mirror doesn’t lower

Featured Replies

Reversing : passenger side mirror doesn’t automatically lower when reversing ( 2020 Superb estate 2.0 tsi petrol SE L )    Car electronic screen options suggest I should have that function) and it seems switched on )

thanks , otherwise enjoying the car

Check that the mirror selector switch on the driver's door is set to L mirror.  If it's not, the mirror stays in position.

Just found the more detailed instructions, sorry , ooops

I have mine set to L mirror as suggested above and the function only seems to work intermittantly.  At times it goes down and doesn't go back up.  Anyone else experience this issue...?

It goes back up after 10mph

Ye. I agree , it goes back up once you start driving forward

It should go back up once you drive off but if it doesn't it looks like a trip to the garage unless you're a good DIY person and know how to get inside the door to check all connections
