Budget head unit

I am considering changing the symphony head unit in my Octy for something that is able to play MP3's and also is Ipod ready.

I am doing this because i am in the process of upgrading the speakers and this seems the next logical step to take.

However i am looking for something relatively cheap. Must be able to use my steering wheel audio controls with it, i would also like something that illuminates green to match the dash in my octy.

So far i have looked at a Panasonic cq-1303 and a JVC kd-421.

does anyone have any reccomendations apart from these?
