So firstly my backbox has finally fallen off. As nice as it sounds I need to get a replacement folks. It doesn't seem easy to source something that is reasonably priced! I am not interested in stainless, or deleted systems, just a backbox to the junction.

Anyone have any decent suppliers?

Also, I have not had any boost for a while. When I last had the airfilter off the following breather? pipe snapped... But can anyone help me recognise the parts of the system that generate vacuum? I think the latter is just a breather but could be wrong...

I get the error from my OBD: 
        P2261 - Turbo Boost Pressure Not Detected Mechanical Implausible signal
            static

 They will be pricey genuine items in exhaust. Sometimes LLLp parts saves a bit on genuine vw parts.

 

That code sounds like the turbo actuator is dead, rod snapped etc. Check for operation.  Its on the turbo accessible with difficulty from under car. 

 

 

 

Thanks TheClient, appreciate the help. Not heard the valve reflected off fences etc... for a loooong time tbh... Is it an easy replacement when accessed?
