Hi! I'm new here!

Featured Replies

Hi, my name is Kate, and I'm new to here and Skodas.

My son has just bought himself a 2010 Fabia, nice little car. I've joined the forum, not him, as it's me that does all the spanner work in our house. As I said, new to Skodas, but not new to VAG, having had many VW's in our house over the years, aircooled and water cooled. I always join forums for the extra insight ind tips you can't get out of a workshop manual.

Just the 1.6tdi 55kw. Still quite an upgrade from his last car, a '91 Polo 1.0 with a mere 45hp!

Hi, and kudos. Aside from my present Skoda, I've worked on a Type 1 (1970, 1300 engine, owned by my Dad, but there were some jobs on the engine were easier with 11yo arms.
