Sensor noise with no sensors?

Hi guys, I've just bought an 04 MK1 Octy vRS and when I put it in reverse I hear beeping like parking sensors but there are no sensors fitted to the car? Any ideas what it could be?

Check the bulb in your reversing light; it may be one with a built-in sounder.
